Rear foot brake and front brake works good on my 81 185s but the cable to the rear brake lever is locked up. Anyway of getting it working again? Or do I need a new one? Also did the 81 models have a parking brake mechanism? I see that the 82 models did.

Lots of lube. Start at the uppermost end of the cable, and let gravity work for you. Are you sure its the cable and not the lever?

Yep cable not lever. Should I take it off and stretch it out maybe lube will flow down it better then?
