If a water cooled 2-stroke blows the headgasket, does water get into the bottom end?

Definitely wet plug. Haven't ran it much since the cdi went bad on me. I was just curious because it has set up some and I didn't know if water could work its way through the intake ports and into the bottom end

it should contain itself in the cylinder.. I would pull it off before it rust,or pitt's the cylinder..dry it out and spray it with oil.. I've seen some bad damage to bikes left like that. next thing ya know you gotta bore 2x over to get the pitt's out..:wondering

Well, I did wd-40 it pretty well and turned it over a good bit to get as much of the water out as I could. It has a CT Racing top end on it. I bought this thing as a project, but didn't figure on having to get the electrical glitches out of it.....

Yep. '86 250r. Supposed to be a 310 top end. Previous owner told me the rings were bad because they got water on them.... I was like "Huh?" Compression is great, just gotta find a cdi box.
