Well, I finally got the oppurtunity to purchase a set of laydown 200x cases from John (greenhuman) and of course I couldn't say no. A great guy to deal with and very patient and understanding. I would recommend dealing with him to anyone on here. The cases arrived today. An incredible amount of hand work. These case are actually the 185 cases with the 6 speed transmission, which was included, but will take all the 200x parts, of which I have a 200x engine that I purchased a while ago that came with a fresh bore and piston and all the topend gaskets. So the plan is, with Bruces' (blue27) help, to fit this into my A+ framed suspension 70 which Bruce has already modified to have front and rear disc brakes. New engine mounts will have to be made as well as modify a 200x intake and fabricate an exhaust. As if Bruce hasn't done enough for me as it is. According to John, it's the only one in U.S. I hope this build does John proud. Another crazy project. Stay tuned for all the fun and excitement. Here are a couple of pics of how the cases arrived. I hope you enjoy them.

We all missed you at Bruces' last Sunday. Went to TJ Rockwells for lunch. Pretty crazy. Did you see Timmys' 90 pics with the small tires? He was having a blast and was doing some slipping and sliding.

Pat help some of us in the dark out here a little. Did they offer such a thing over seas or is this a custom one off job? Either way, very cool, but in a 70 frame?! and I thought I was crazy!

It's a greenhuman special. It's not a one off, just the only one here in the states as of right now. Pretty much handbuilt or handwelded on the cases and then machined to specs. There are other threads on here about these. John down in Australia makes them. I believe he is also the original designer, or had the original ideal of the mods on these, but I'm kind of waiting to hear the story on these. I've wanted one ever since I first saw the pictures on here and John was kind enough to sell me a lightly used set of cases with the 6 speed transmission. Now I have to switch everything else over from my 200x
engine as well as have alot of help coming up with a set of engine mounts and an intake and an exhaust since the head and cylinder are not in the original factory position. This should be very fun once finished I have the suspension frame already and have a "theme" picked out. If you like this, just wait and see what else will hopefully be arriving shortly!!!

I believe he also built the cases for the laydown 250R motor in a 70 in Australia.

It's going to be an awesome 70. I can't wait to see some pics of it together.

No the laydown 250r was built by Mart here on the boards. Still Aussie craftsmanship and ingenuity though. If they can't find it, they make it. Timmy, just wait and see what is coming to my house next!!!!

No progress yet. I wanted to take this up to blue27's house as he is my main engine advisor and we need to check it all out. He is really sharp when it comes to the rebuilding of the engines. But I can say there is a second set of laydown cases on the way!

Yes, I've seen that, but he doesn't really show him getting on it. I'm not sure what I will do with the second engine yet. Maybe install in a stock atc70 frame and go to ohio?

No progress. It's kind of stalled out as I have been working on other things and too much time at work as usual. And I'm trying to get another machine. LOL I've got issues.
