Here's some before & after photos of my 1974 K1 Atc70 that I just finished restoring. The 'Before' photos were taken in July 2008. The finished photos were taken a few weeks ago.

Ive had this bike my whole life. Dad bought it for us kids in 1983. That's me in the first couple of photos as a kid, Sitting on it & in the bucket on the front with my Grandfather. Those photo's were taken in 1983.

Also here is a video I made from one of our old movies;
1974 K1 ATC70 - Old family movie from 1983. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uTi2fQgsrg)

We hadnt taken it for a decent ride since 2005. As you can see from the photos, It was getting deteriorated in the past few years. It made me sad :(.... So i decided to restore it.

Since I started restoring the bike Ive been posting my progress on the Glamis Dunes forum. Ive got heaps of photos on there & every step of the restoration;
http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=143026

'ausatc70' from this forum posted on my Glamis Dunes thread, which reminded me i probly should post the completed photos on here too.

So here you go.

Haha thanks mate. Yea it came up pretty good I think.

Dad says its too good to ride now. He wants me to lock it up in my house & never ride it again!.... Fat chance buddy. That's why I restored it!! So I CAN ride it!

So yes he is very happy with it. Allot more happy than when he came into the work shop 6 months ago & saw the 70 at one of its lowest points.....

You have done a really outstanding job on this resto. Most people on here can't appreciate the work in this trike unless they followed the thread on the restoration. The exhaust was handbuilt in many sections. Many parts on this trike were handmade. The thread on glamis dunes has to be seen to really appreciate all the time and effort that was put into this trike. It is a must read for anyone that has ever worked on a long term project. And the best part of all is, the trike is restored to how it was when he was younger.

Haha, That's what I think too! I'll ride the hell out of it now!!

Na i didn't stretch the frame.

The frame was bent, So I had to cut out the bent section & replace it with a new piece.

By the way, its got the Beatrice Hyper 88cc kit in it too....

I havnt even ridden it yet either! Hopefully I will get a chance this week end.
