those are good tanks. they are plastic but work fine. will last for several years. Also note that G&H are awesome honest sellers. i have purchased several things from them and they are honest and trustworthy.

Looks like a clark tank. Very good replacement tank IMO.

Dang that is a good price. I wish the 200x plastic tank was the cheap.

They are not clark....They look like the same plastic that they make 5 gallon gas cans out of....Clarks look a little nicer.....My buddy has a clark on his 250sx and it matches the plastic perfect....I have seen one of these for a 84 big red and the plastic looks a little cheaper....I was just wondering if anyone has one on there trike and how it fits.....

I bought one of those off of ebay, and it wasn't advertised as a Clarke, but the one I got was a Clarke. I think it's the best thing you can bolt on your SX. No more sore knees from banging them into the tank. The plastic ones are excellent. No more rust or dents. I'd ask them to send you pictures of the bottom. I'm pretty sure mine has Clarke molded into it on the bottom edges. I did break the nipple off the gas cap, but it doesn't spray fuel unless I top it off on a hot day. Otherwise, I think it just vents in. Be sure to buy a new petcock as well. I wouldn't reuse the old crappy one from the original tank.

I gave about $120 plus shipping for mine, and it might have been from the same people. Mine had a small scratch on it, so maybe it was a second? It was still a great deal.

I installed one of those on my 250sx yesterday. My little piece of advice: Go ahead and spend a little extra $$$ and get the clarke. That thing leaked bad when I first installed it, had to take the plate that the petcock screws onto off and reseal the o-ring with rtv silicone, the rear mount bolt was a pain to get in, and the flat plastic part at the back where it meets the seat is too thick, it interferes with putting the seat on. But I did get it on, I just expect it to start leaking again. Just my $.02.
