swing arm bearings

any body know where i could find a good spot to find the front swing arm bearings for my 85 200x i have been searchin and the ones i find are out of stock

bearing supply hk 2030 mine were about $8 a piece and better than biker chicks on e-bay. Also I think xsystem on the bords has a bushing kit for a good price also

get a hold of x.system here on the forums, he makes some sweet synthetic bushings that'll like never wear out.

Thats funny i was just talking to him on ebay when i saw the bushings has anyone used them seems alot cheaper then having to get all thoughs spacers and dust caps I think im going to go ahead and try them out just need to get ahold of him.

Man those old bearings are so hard to get out, maby not with proper tools but i dont have them so they just keep breaking apart.

or are we stuck with tapered wheel type bearings.

The SX/ES have no swing arm thru bolt to tie things together, they have a (edit, right) bolt with a preload of like 17ft/lbs.

You'd have no preload if you removed the tapered bearings and used nylon/delrin, UHMW etc etc. They would be sloppy if loose or would wear if preloaded..........
