Does anyone know what size handlebars a 1984 200x can use. Im looking to buy off the net and not sure what diameter to order?

standard size I believe is 7/8" and that is what a 200x takes. I got 17.00 moose bars. now the width of where the bar clamp is the problem I had. my clamps (on the tripple trees) are a little more narrow that where the knurling on the handle bars is. but I tightened them as usual and have had no problems.

i stuck a set of stock 98 kx 250 bars on my 200x. the grooves were the only problem but i also tightened them up and i have had no probs.

Almost all bikes, quads, and trikes ever made take the standard 7/8" bars. The only thing to watch for that may make them not fit is the width between the upward bends. The clamps that hold the bars on tend to be wider on ATVs than on bikes, and some "bike bars" arent wide enough in the center for ATV clamps.

Thats why yopu measure the distance in between the clamps before you get some new handlebars.
