I have a 1983 honda big red 200e.. The trike doesn't wanna idle and it sputters as i drive.. cleaned carb jets were plugged. took it for a rip still did it, pulled carb apart and jets were plugged again.. also the tank has rust in it., could this be the problem with the rust gettng into carb??

yes, install an In-line filter, and clean the carb again

Yes, that is definatly the problem with rust in the carb. You can try to re-coat the inside of the tank with tank kreem. Google search it for more info, and what to do. The least you could do is run a fuel filter directly in the gas line if it dosnt already have a new one.

K also. when i drained my oil it was watery . put new oil in and ran it for abit and looked again and oil was watery.. put new oil in and now its fine.. i was in a slew for abit, could i have gotten water in, if so what should i do?

Automatic tranny fluid absorbs water. Some people do a mix of diesel and motor oil also. Fill it up and do a heat cycle just idling it and 1/4 throttle ..... and drain away :D
What does "in a slew for abit" mean??

lol i am going on a limb here steve , but by slew i think he means , like a ditch or place with water (mud) in it, prolly a few feet deep.
just guessing ( i have heard the term used up here before )

Yea a slew meaning a big water hole.. but is there anything else i should do to trike??

fix the rusty tank, put in a fuel filter in line, and clean the carb again
