Your best bet is to break the rearend apart and grease everything. You might even have to knock it apart with a rubber hammer. I usually pull the carrier out and clean it and the swingarm and then grease it upon reassembly.

I hate to steal somebody else's quote but what the hell- If you can't figure out how to adjust your chain you probly shouldn't own a three wheeler. I mean, it is tough. I'll give you that. Just think though- once you conquer chain adjusting, you can move on to bigger and better things like clutch adjusting, and maybe, just MAYBE, someday you will bleed a brake. God bless America!:D

alright first of all im not stupid and second it has a brandnew chain the only way it tightens up is if the rear brake caliper is off then it will tighten and loosen

If the caliper mount doesn't spin on the carrier, how can the carrier pivot to adjust the chain??

Sounds like you've got something seized up somewhere.

Also, take the 2 carrier pinch bolts out and screw them in from the bottom. Put something flat, like a large washer in the pinch bolt gap and tighten the bolts against it. You'll see the swingarm seperate just a bit.... It helps open it a bit more and you can spray some crap in there too.

Hmmm - I wonder who said that about adjusting the chain  :D
