Ok guys the title is pretty self explanatory, i can feel it slipping and getting a bit worse. Can you rebuild the clutch in these? I am mechanically inclined, thats not a problem, just need to know if its possible.

Thanks, its an 84 200x.

You can get new clutch plates and friction disc and you should just be able to pull off right side case and you should see your clutch basket and just unscrew the nuts

Look for a manual in World Class Help. It shows you step by step.

You will need a special tool to remove the oil rotor and clutch hub. These can be easily bought for around $15 on ebay.

go real easy with the clutch nuts they break when you give them that lil bit extra

Actually guys i figured something out. I did not have enough free play in my cable and it was making it slip. I adjusted it and got almost all the slip out. The cable is worn a little so i have a new one on the way, and am getting a new handle too. My perch and handle are wore out giving it too much slop and letting it not work right. Im hoping the new handle and cable take the end of the slippage out, (its very minimal now).
