so i'm trying to order a set of 86 t3 fenders. found the rears for $138 online, call them up, they want $90 to ship it, so i try another place, they want $60 to ship the rears. so i go to the dealer, figureing i won't have to pay shipping, i order the front and rear, pay and everythings good, should get them by next friday. i get a call this afternoon, saying i need to pay shipping, $60. wtf

i thought when you order from a dealer, you don't need to pay shipping if i pick them up. i was even told by midwestactioncycle to order them at my dealer, to save on shipping.

feel like i'm gonna get screwed whereever i go. i know it doesn't cost that much to ship a fender, i bought a set of lt250r fenders and paid about $30, in a huge box.

might as well order them online and pay the shipping and have them shipped to my house!

That doesn't sound right to me. If you're picking them up at the dealer, whatever it costs to ship them to the dealer should be included in the price, no? I stopped going to dealers for parts years ago. The local Kawi dealer here is a friggin joke. Super expensive and they look at you like you've got three tires (Get it?) when you ask for trike parts.

I've never been treated worse ANYWHERE than Brockton Cycle Center. Then I found Chaplin Kawasaki saved me 20-40% anyhow so I avoiud that place like the plague.

All they have going for them is the few hot chicks that work there, but of course they don't have a personality anyhow..........

Yup, the Brockton Cycle Cesspool. Like you said, avoided like the plague. Every time I go there I walk out shaking my head. The last time I went in I needed something like RIGHT NOW and I was desperate. Can't remember what it was, but they didn't have it. The time before that I was looking for some Kawi green paint. They just shrugged their shoulders. I think when their stuff needs new paint they trade it in!

yea its brockton. i never go to dealers anymore, buy everything online. they seemed helpful, other than wanting another $60 for shipping. i have to call them back tomorrow

they want $165 for the rear, and $80 for the front. it was about $256 for everything.

What's the issue with Chaplin? I've never had any quams with them.

got mine at hooksett kawasaki in NH for list price. No shipping cost, No sales tax in NH either. Had them in like 2 days. Best i could find at the time.

$183 from xcbob, but the front isn't listed anymore, from them. so it would probably be about $300 for everything. there shipping is $25 for the rear fender.

Oh, that sucks man. So are you the guy I was dealing with over there? I've bought a ton of Tecate decals off them, and I'll be needing more soon. Their decals are by far the best.

Buying Kawasaki parts(fenders) from a kawasaki dealer AND paying additional shipping charges? Heck no!

I bought front and rear '86 Tecate fenders at a local dealer last year with no shipping charges added.

yes,i was the one who loaned all my oem tecate stickers to him to get them reproduced.i did all the ebay,the shipping and all his online orders.you wont see stickers from him ever again.they are all gone.he is now being sued by the people who ran his graphics dept for breach of contract.he has several lawsuits against him because he screws everyone he can.

Sblt500R dont get discouraged yet. I bought new OEM rear fenders for tecate for $147 plus $15 shipping to phx az from www.babbittsonline.com a couple months ago. I just checked and its still the same price.

you must be close to them? thats why the shipping was so cheap? mrcycles was around $135, but they wanted $90 for shipping.

i called the dealer today, and i am getting them without paying for shipping. i talked to the guy i bought them from, and he didn't even know who the guy was who called me last night. so i don't know whats going on there. but i'll have them by the end of next week. :w00t:

They are located in Michigan which is very far from AZ. I used there online order process. You can get a shipping quote when you go through the checkout.

Front and rear fenders and the left shroud are available. Right shroud is not.
