just got my top end rebuilt done.and on my first ride out to test it i forgot about the missing pull cord cover

That's why I never run anything with the recoil off.....that's just asking for trouble. Lessons learned I guess.

good news is the bikes runing great im missing the bolts for the recoil gonna go get me some asap anyone know the size its off a 82 atc 200

I think there a 8mm bolt, I could be wrong. Use's a 10mm wrench.

no the flywheel and the pull cord catch mounted on the flywheel tore his shoe open and his foot OOOUUCH lol

I think there a 8mm bolt, I could be wrong. Use's a 10mm wrench.

They are 6MM. Just picked some up an hour ago...

Wow. Been there but with my foot intact. I had a ytm 200 with no pullcord assembly. Someone chewed off 5 out of 6 teeth on the rotor. So they welded 2 plates around the rotor. So a DOGS LEASH yes thats right for a pull cord. Still have the leash.lol Drove it for the longest time with no cover. Only hit my foot once with only a small rip in my boot. Lots of New Brunswickers in this topic.

I did the same thing however i was MUCH luckier than you it only riped my sneeker OUCH i hurt just to look at it:cry:

yes it does hurt its not that long but its realy deap evrything hurts even my leg
