Trying like hell to get the stator magnet assembly, flywheel, whatever you call it off, and it wont budge! The nut is of course off, and I'm using a puller with threaded bolts into the assembly as it should, but I'm cranking the thing as hard as I can, and it's not breaking free. Help! :wondering

I did one of these on a 225dx not two weeks ago, and I was able to break it by hand. It's really on there THAT hard??

Crank the puller as tight as you can get it, and then whack the end of the puller bolt that is against the end of the crank with a mini sledge. Repeat until it pops off.

should just have a puller that screws into the center and pushes on the crank I just did 2 of these one was tight but not to bad ... I think a axle is threaded right if you don't have a proper puller . Do a search to verrify

Finally got the stupid thing off.....used a different puller and an impact....and a couple Budweisers :)
Now, the replacement spark source coil doesn't look exactly like either one on the stator. Is the spark coil the one on the top (smaller) or the one on the bottom (larger)?
Thanks guys!

The exciter coil is the smaller one, the larger one is your lighting coil.
