New Trikes?

What do you think about a new line of Trikes.. that arent jap or Chinese.. would it take to the market again? the ban on building them only lasted 10 years. in canada anyways i dont know about US

As soon as someone started producing them, the focus groups would ramp up their efforts and our week liberal government (both USA and Canada) will easily cave to the pressure and put a new ban on them. They started shipping in new chinese ones and all it took was for a few crybabies to cry about it and they already stopped shipping them in, in the last year or so. It's quite pathetic.

i cant ever see any of the big 3 making trikes again, Ive heard now (dunno if its true yet guys anti three wheeler cuz im faster than him) that they are making it illegal for NB insurgence companies to insure trikes, but im one of the very few who actually have a 100% legal bike around here, he also says if you are on the trail with them the rangers will impound them, I'm calling BS on that part though. not to get on a rant about the subject which has been done many times on here, just saying...

dont want to be a wet blanket,but that will never happen.no company will go through the BS to produce the threewheeler again.i do however wish someone would produce new replacement parts,from frames to motors to axles,everything to build a complete trike from a catalog.that would be sweet.

Like i said, im going to build a few from scratch see how they take. suzuki honda kawasaki and yamaha will never make trikes again, but theres no reason why a new line of trikes cant be introduced.

Thats a great idea if lifan can build motors then they or some one could reproduce every single piece and offer it in a catalog (like the jeep and harley books) offer frames that are original copys and ones that would accept modern power

me and my friend are going to build 3 models from scratch, i mean scratch, (using honda engines first) if it picks up we may look into our own designed engines. but entire frame/suspension design engineering is all going to be from nothing, the ground up. this guy welds transport truck trailers that have been broken in half and there usable again. one of the best welders around. and hes got all the good tools, stay tuned pics of the start of the frame will soon be here.
