Is Brapps Tecate one of those or was it another racers? Just curious.

By the way does anyone have the aftermarket airbox you see in some of the pics. Ufo I believe? Man I want one.

I met Jimmy White about 20 years ago and him sign a pencil drawing I did of him sliding a Tecate. It has since disappeared. He signed it at a Mickey Thompsons indoor race at the Anaheim Stadium in California.

yea right fabio i have smoked more then one kawasaki with my 250r and i have worked on so many tecates and never had any problems with my 250r

i agree i have owned 9 diffrent tecates and only ridden 2 of them for any period of time and the only tecate i aver riddenand liked was mik-6's and even that seemed really down on power for soem reason.

Great! another Tecate thread where evryone and there mom bitches about how great a 250R is and there bountiful benefits over a Tecate. :rolleyes: Play a different tune people. If you want to e-stroke your 250R start your own thread.

i always liked the tecates more when I was racing 3 wheelers. i thought they were more comfortable to ride as far as egrogonimics goes. the hondas felt like you were all cramped up on them. your feet were up to high, the tank felt like it was in your chest, and the front end felt like it was always going to wheelie. The 84 model was worse. I dont know how those guys did it. But they seemed to do well. I didnt mean to turn this into a honda vs. kawi thread but it always seems to happen!
