What liquid cooled models are still out there with parts availability meaning new pipes and all internal parts and such?

Also...how hard is it to either convert or build an external gear system to convert the rear kicking to the forward.

Either kawasaki or honda is my preference....but I'm open to any of the big three.

B.U.I.L.T produces a BOLT ON forward kicking mechanism for the new CR250R engines for Service Honda. Service Honda uses it on their SRX250r. It's a 400ex custom built with a CR250r engine. I'm sure someone at Service Honda could get you hooked up with one for those engines.

thanks guys... That's what I need. Don't suppose they make one for a kx250, or if the thing would be compatible?

How do they start those shifter carts?

I don't understand why you need a forward kicking Kawi engine. Are you building a Tecate? They kick backwards like a dirtbike anyways.

shifter karts sometimes start with in impact starter kinda like a hand held electric starter some do...some i dont know.

so is the tecate kicker moved out to avoid the frame/fenders or what?

No, there is an indent in the rear plastics that your foot goes through when you kick.

is it just a tiny kicker and kicks rearward?

Yes. I use a yamaha banshee kicker on my rear kicking 500. knuckle was midified but it's still a banshee kicker

not to keep asking questions, but I don't imagine it'd be all that hard to kick over a 250cc two stroke with one of those kickers... right?

I know i wouldn't have a problem doing it.
