I think you have a ytm200, but it's really hard to tell. You need to check out that vin number to make sure. Is it chain drive or shaft drive? The early ytm200s were chain drive and the later models were shaft drive. If it was chain drive, that would be pretty cool. I like the chain driven models better than the shaft driven ones, chain driven is a whole lot less complicated. You need to get some pics with the rear fenders off. It is hard to say where the gas leak is coming from without seeing the trike up close and personal. But I would check the fuel line into the carb, and I would check the overflows on the carb cause it might be your float sticking. With some elbow grease, it should be a nice looking and running trike. Don't worry about people cracking on you for the trail pro tires, they will last a life time and they actually have pretty good grip in the mud and rocky conditions. And the ytm200 is a 4 stroke. If you have electric start, then it is more likely a ytm200E. If it has a drive shaft, then you could have reverse on it too. Looks like you have some work and research ahead of you. Best of luck with getting it going. People on here will try and help you out however they can.

well it is chain driven and the fuel lines look all good it is a oil and gas mix i think its coming out of the carb itself but i need to look closer. but i will get some pics of more detailed items on the bike tomorrow. along the lines of the vin think your taking about i have looked but its only for atc's ill keep you updated on it

Well, the first thing you really need to do is get out the simple green and a couple stiff bristled brushes and take the tank and fenders off and give that bike a good scrubbing and degreasing to see what you have. It is just a tad oily and crusty! LOL Once you can start seeing actual trike instead of dirt and oil and such it will make your job alot easier. Then when you get it running, you can better see if anything on the trike is leaking and better know where you stand condition wise. You should not have oil and gas leaking from the carb. Hopefully if you have an oil leak, it is just dripping on the carb. You might have a vent line from the engine casing not hooked up and that is what may be blowing oil mist onto your carb. A clean trike is alot easier to work on and to see if you have any problems with. Get out there and start scrubbing and then let's see what you have.
I bet it isnt oil/gas mix I bet it OLD DIRTY GASS THATS PARTLY VARNISHED... wich tends to look like oily gas....
I would get it running and SELL it... turn and burn baby!

That's a 4-stroke, no mix. The engine is a 1985 also.
Get the manuals. There's two to help you out with that.
