I picked up this bike about 8 months ago in Cali shipped it back to the UK and have spent the last few months finding all them hard to find parts..it did look like a bit of a nail but i bought it from the original owner who ran it a few years the stator blew and just left it outside for a number of years but when i stripped the top end off the piston looked new no carbon build up on the exhaust port, bottom end very tight so i think it was quite a low hour bike.. i painted the frame, new top end, lots of NOS parts and still waiting for a airbox to turn up (lost in the post somewhere)
thanks to everybody who helped me :beer

looks good just need to restore that tank. i took mine and used red-kote to line the inside so the gas fumes can't seep through and bubble the paint. i then took a shroud to a auto body shop and had them match the color and paint it. identical match and is holding up great, and mine is a rider too so it sees trail conditions. i have some pics of my resto somewhere on here.
