Hello everyone. This is my first post. I just pulled my 1984 Big Red 200 out of the barn and am ready to get it going again. I am glad I found this site!

My question is are the 83 and 84 Honda 200 cc 3 wheelers exactly the same or had there been changes made? I need some parts and found someone with a 1983 they are parting out. I need a headlight assembly, the oil drain plug / oil filter bolt, and a set of rear fenders for my 84 big red.

Are the 200 engines all the same? I bought a pull starter for it while back from another year and it did not work. Luckly my electric start works well. I figure if that is different maybe other parts are different to.

Are the drain plugs the same from all of the 200s? I broke the oil plug on my wifes 84 TRX 200 and robbed the one from my atc to keep it going. The TRX seems to be exactly the same engine wise. Anyway. any help would be great. I can't seem to find anyone with an 84 that they are willing to part out. Thanks! John

First off, Welcome to the site. We hope you enjoy it!!

A lot of 82-83 Honda 200e Big Red parts will work on a 84 200es Big Red. But not all the parts will. Pull starter is different, 82-83 is chain drive, 84 is shaft drive. Send a list of needed items to Pickle ( atcsrus@bright.net ) and mention Howdy sent ya. He is a close friend of mine and has a bunch of parts. He might not have everything, but then he might.

Welcome to the board. Post some pics of that Big Red when you get a chance.
