I just put a new UNI filter on my 185s and im running no air box, but it seems to be running rich. I went to d7 from d8 plugs but it still fouls them. What should i do?

Run the factory spec plug and jet accordingly for the high flow filter and no air box.

try moving your needle clip on your throttle needle i was going through that same stuff on my 84 big red for a while tried hotter plugs and was still foulin em so i ended up puttin carb kit and had to buy a new float then i just had to fiffle faddle with the needle clip then been good ever since hope that helps

if no other alterations were done it should be running lean.that is if stock air box ,the steel filter cage. had a filter, not just the cage.go back to factory settings on the carb and go from there.

Ok then try dropping the needle down. Also let us know if it runs good anywhere in the rev range... does it start good ... does it run good wide open. there is a ton of jetting advice on here patience is the key and only 1 adjustment at a time!!!

Take the carb apart and see which jets you are running. If it is still rich with a UNI and no air box I'm suprised it ran before
