just bought an 85 200x few wks ago wks couldnt pass it up for 250 bucks it evan runs lol so just been going through every thing making it like new again did rear axle bearings front tire bearings got a new seat for it old one was all tore up. changed the sprockets and chains the sprocket. it had an extended axle on it so i put a stock on on it so i can at least hit a little mud puddle with out getting covered in mud. got an exhaust comin well actually two of them i orderd on was on back order so i got impatiant and order another on and neither of them have showed up yet go figure boy they are kinda hard to find so i got a steel cobra coming and an aluminun one. wanna get every thing on frame like new again and up to snuff then its on to the motor had it clocked yesterday she hit 57 gotta change gears on it to get her going lil fast but not to loose to much on low end i am kinda new to this stuff so any good advice will help me out lots thanks

oh yeah have been wondering will an 350x fit in it i want this ol girl to scream or any ideas what to put in it to make it fast yet not loose to much of my power cause motor starten to get lill tired in this one

are you going to get rid of the extended axle? maybe your extra exhaust as well?

i dont think i am gonna get rid of axle think i am gonna hang on to that but will be getting rid of the exhaust when ever they get here im gettin frusterated been whating awhile spose to be here this week nt sure which one gonna get rid which ever one sound better ill keep lol it was hell finding and exhaust though whoa i spent many hours searching the net every where was out of stock ill post when they come in

Congrats that sounds like a great machine. When you re do the motor go with a 10.25:1 compression and if you can afford it a webcam and a 30mm carb. You will be impressed with the 200x they respond well to mods ...... NO a 350 motor will not fit in there the biggest you can get is a crf230 motor
