I like 'em, sure beats getting covered with mud. If you rounded the corners a little bit they'd look pretty darn good from a distance. :beer

figure of speech....not a race..you are classified as a redneck for something you do, not your race......where im from....i see stuff like that alot....and im sure alot of city folks would consider me a redneck just for living like 15min from any store, or even just for owning a trike!
You act like a redneck is a bad thing...id rather be called that than 90% of other things....

on the other hand...i personally would just wait till i find a set of plastics...i have a 200x ive been looking for a used set for like 4mths now.... it has none on it.....but i still ride it....you ride to get dirty!! it makes the dirt and mud fly farther.

Wow, I never would've guessed that would have cost you $40. I would think more like $20 by the looks of it.

I was going to make a comment, but considering some of the ones I've seen around here made with pieces of 5 gallon buckets and cut up plastic 55 gallon drums that were wired onto the frame and other such trash...it actually looks pretty good in comparison

Improvise. I think they look great. Me I like getting dirty. I still like playing in my sand box but now with bigger toys. Have you tried melting the plastic with a heat gun to make effects And curves?

Hey man despite what the others may say it looks dam good way to use your head. And if you think about it what you used is way more flexable and will withstand more abuse than factory plastics, so now you can ride harder with out worries of them crackin. Props to you shens

I must read to fast.. At first I thought I read Brute Trash BAGs.. I was like what the hell... Then I re-read the original post and realized it said trash can.. Not a bad idea and really doesn't look too awful.. Maybe try some rubbermaid ones.. You can get those in all kinds of shapes.. Might have to make a set of these just for when my cousin comes to ride. Seem like every time he comes over he falls off the bike and somehow it gets stuck up in a tree a few feet off the ground. Have to find the pictures of that to post.

Yea I went with the brute trashcan because it was thick and flexible. I'm only keeping them there tell I get a new set of maiers and yea they do the job cheaply...I wasn't worried about them looking real good but they turned out better then thought they were. And you can't use the rubber maid unless its round due to flexing breaks them easily I learned that the hard way

Going to have to get in here and defend my friend on this one; they actually look pretty good for homemade, and remind me of almost a Road Warrior mod that is all function.

That, and you should see his @$$ before the fenders. My calves were wet, his whole lower half was.

Speaking of which, miss being out there today. *sad panda*
