84 200x backfiring?

my 200x has been backfiring for quite some time...and finally it has driven me nuts....so i was wondering what all could cause it to be backfiring??? if its the jet in the carb....would i have to get a bigger or smaller one? im thinking bigger but im not sure.

try spark arrester cleaning. If u need help on it just pm or something.

heh....i think my pipes clean....i took a huge circular wire brush to it....looks new to me! (dg pipe by the way).....how would i check for holes in the headpipe?

let it idle and watch and see if smoke is coimg out of it anywhere. Check the connection into the head and everything.

Did you replace the copper o ring whenyou installed the pipe? and did it backfire before?

it backfired a little bit, very slight before i had it bored .050, and now it backfires like a mo fo....would i need to get a bigger/smaller jet for it???? i have no clue what is in it now....does it say on the jet what size it is.??? Thanks
