Here is my 200x I just finished to rebuilt tonight....xr200 cam and carb, new crankshaft, new clutch, porting, supertrapp exhaust, oil cooler, rear wheel spacer(2 inch each side),xr200 front fork for better ground clearance, new rear fender,250r front fender, custom headlight/oil cooler guard,Argo 20-11-8 rear tire....and I install a chain guide from a dirt bike,I think it's the best way to prevent sprocket and magneto cover damage...

It looks great!! How hard was that xr200 fork swap? Are the forks the same outside diameter as the 200x forks? How about the brake and hub mounting?

I'm curious to know how it handles with those new forks.

I just use the inner tube from the xr200,I keep the outside tube so there is no problem for the caliper. The inner tube have the same diameter. The only difference is the bushing on this tube. The 200x have a bushing, not the xr200.Just do a groove on a lathe for fit the 200x bushing and everthing bolt right up.
