Hey everyone...I'm in the middle of rebuilding an 85.5 Tri Z and I think I'm gonna go with a +2 Banshee axle. Its my understanding that this will work with the stock Z rear components. I had to beat the crap outa my original axle's lock nuts to get them off, so I'd like to buy something that I can at least put a wrench on next time. I checked ebay and there are numerous offerings for the banshee axle and the price is anywhere from $45 up to $100.

Anyone have an opinion on which one might be good? Most of them are billet and have a pinch bolt as well. Would that hurt the threads pinching it down like that?

Thanks for any help!

No, you will be fine with the pinch bolt type, locknut .
