Which locknuts? The one on the hub, or the little round one that is directly on the axle?

i am talkin about the ones the inner and out lock nuts that you have to get off in order to remove the brake hub

you need two people, sit on the bike and hold the rear brake, the other use a big pipe wrench and put a piece of pipe over it to extend the leavage, if your using stock nut put the pipe wrenth on bigger nut and push the wrenth down, once that nut is loose the smaller nut should go easily. you will need to take off the hub and pushthe axle nut back and you will see a circlip on the axle, take that off and the assembly should come off with little problem. It might help to heat up the nut before and spray some lube on it. If all else fails, use an acetlene torch and cook the nut off, it melts fairly quickly. Either way you probably still need to buy another axle lock nut or get a anti-fade.

Impact helps a lot. Put some pressure on the wrench then hit the handle with a hammer.

After your done, put some axle grease there, goes on real easy, and off the next time 8)
