Looking for a picture of the john Deere trike with the dump bed on the back. Was probably built in the 70's or early 80's.

Doug,

I think they only made these in a 5 wheeler (the AMT600) - although I could be dead wrong. Here is what I recall you are talking about:

The one that my buddy picked up has a single axle on the back. Maybe some kind of Cushman? I'll have to see if I can get a picture in the next day or so. Any more ideas?

Doug,
Do you straddle the seat or does it have a bench seat?

No, I not positive that it's a John Deere, It has nothing on it that says what it is. It is green, so we were going on that. Anyone have pictures of the Harley Davidson with the dump bed?

Those things are sweet. Wonder how they steer with a full load in the back? lol

I remember riding on he local shepards one (AMT 600) when i was about 10. I loved that thing, would hear him trundling up the road to check the flock i would run out and ride in the back till we got off the road then he'd let me drive, which i thought was awesome, not that it really went that fast, probably quite a lot slower than my atc70, but i still thought it was brilliant none the less, probably coz it was a John Deere. Think they've still got it somewhere, they certainly wont have got rid of it, being farmers. In actual fact, it was the same farm that we got both our atc70's from, they having bought them both new. Just a useless bit of info for you..... :D

We'll see, I think Devilman might have got it to. I'll show him those pictures tomorrow at work. He said this afternoon that it doesn't have front suspension.

So... if he sold you the 70's, would he not sell you the Gator? Was it the single seat with handlebars or bench seat with steeringwheel?
Hmm... thinking Toms Farm???
