Dude...c'mon, you have asked the same question twice in two different threads. Clean up the posting and have a little patience with the responses.

I have read on this a bit lately as I am in the process of rebuilding my 200x top end and although you can bore to 67mm (220cc) it makes the cylinder linning verry thin and is allmoast gaurented to over heat. So i consider 66.5mm (1.50 over stock bore ) to be max advisable bore. 50 over isn't 50 thousands of a inch it is a half a mm help that answers your question

the over-heating is not form the boring, it's from lack of proper maintenance and oiling. if your rebuilding the whole motor then repale the oil pump. if not, then at least take it off, inspect for wear and if ok, clean and use new gaskets to ensure good oiling. always use pensiol 10w-30 or some other oil that has an SL raiting. the SL raiting means it has "zinc" and that's what keeps our motors running strong and from wearing.
