Hi all, I got my YTM200 just before xmas 2008, swapped it for a goped GSR 40. I didn't quite know what I'd got into, until I discovered that parts are as rare as you like here in the UK. The bike runs fine with no nasty smoke or rattles. The bodywork is a bit lacking and rough. The main prob was that it would not drive, just made a horrible grinding noise when put into gear.

Stripping it down revealed a shot rear diff, but thankfully the engine/gearbox internals are ok. Since there are absolutely little or no parts in the UK, my first major task was to import a rear axle and diff from the US.

This has now arrived at major expense, hope it is worth it!! The frame has gone off to the powder coaters. The engine though sound leaked oil due to the gasket being knackered on the clutch side and a bolt being sheared off. Steps have been taken to solve these issues, and this sad YTM should be on the road to recovery soon.

Question does anyone know of a good source of parts in the UK?

Welcome, check the 3WW members map, maybe there's someone in the UK that can help you with a parts source.

Once you will get it running you will be glad to have traded it for a scooter.
Welcome on the board!
