Seems minor but is it a no brainer to change the oil seal where the shift shaft is located? Any help would be appreciated. :beer

If your NOT taking out the shift shaft:

Take off the shifter, screw a pointy screw into the seal and pull on it with vicegrips. You may be able to get a small screwdriver in there and pry it out, just protect the case with rags where you are prying.

Put a plastic bag over the shift shaft (after you clean it up) grease or oil the bag and slide the seal (grease the seal too) over it and into the bore. Carefully tap it all the way around and sometimes you can push them in with your thumb.
