Brand New ATC Engines?

Can you buy brand new atc engines still from say like Honda if so give me some links please.

Not from Honda but some lucky guys occasionally find them sitting on shelves in dealerships, schools, etc.

I know you can buy a Lifan, which is just a copy of the Honda ones. You can still find brand new Honda ones from time to time. My Brother has brand new '85 ATC250R motor and carb that I've been thinking about taking off his hands lol!

how many you want ... I have 25 350X engines ... 5 250r water coolers, 5 1986 200x engines ... and 2 atc70 engines, 2 250es engines, 2-3 1985 200x engines ... a couple of 185s engines, and I think I have a 200m and 200s ... I bought all of the engines from local schools that had the engines donated to them by honda when the ban came in effect ... I got pretty lucky ... most of the engines have the carburetors, and the 250r engines even have the radiators for some reason ... the 350x engines even have the oil coolers ... however ... some of the engines (verry few) had the wiring cut at the stator and the clutch cables and the decompression cables ... but as I said just a few ... some even have the motor mounts where the frame was cut out ... I got lucky in another way ... the schols where the engines came from had no small engine classes ... so the engines were never touched as far as i know ... ohh yea ... the throttle cables were cut also ... I sell about 1 - 2 a year ... and only do that when the market is there ... I took 5 to oklahoma last year and they sold really well ... I know where 2 more schools are 1 has 30 engines ... and one has 20 or so ... check around your area ... most agri classes that dont have a cmall engine calss will let them go for a small donation to the agri class ... Honda made them sign a contract that the enignes were never to be sold or they would not recieve any further donations of that nature ... but I figure the contract has ran out by now ... good luck and look good ... you might get a hell uva deal ...

Why would Honda give them to schools that were never going to use them for anything? Weird

I bet those things bring a pretty penny when you sell them.

WELL you have to find the market for them. I sold some out n Oklahoma at the dunes for $ 2 grand each ... the reason the schols go them that weren't going to use them was ... generally each school has an agri class ... most agri classes generally teach some small engine repair ... or mine did to an extent ... but nothing deep ... to the extent that we went into the engines ... actually all of them I have bought were covered in dust ... but they plugged the intake and exhaust ports ... i test run them all on an iv and i have a jig that they are set up in ... I only sell a few a year ... I ship in heavy tubs ... and insure ... thanks ...

so what do i do? just call or send an email asking if they have any atc motors haha

I have a new 86 350X crate motor and new 85 250R crate motor. I used to have a new 85 250SX crate motor....made a bad move and sold it years back. I haven't fired the 350x motor yet, but I'm expecting a few issues when I do....we'll see.
