hey guys. just found this place tonight. Been reading for hours now. lol
good to see there is still atc riders out there. grew up on honda. had them all.
got out of rideing 15 years ago to do the wife and kids thing.. sold a 2 bay garage worth of 200x 350x and 250r parts back then.. now i have little to nothing left... just got a 86 350x for 400$ in almost running order.
Let the restoration begin.
also am thinking heavly on doing one of the crf450r's into a atc. that is one sick looking atc.
little question : who made the aftermarket frames for the 200x ? i had one and know whare it is and was wondering if it is worth something becouse it just sits in a guys garage ready to be used. he most likely would give it to me, but i dont know what brand it is.

right now i am just finishing up the motor with a 12:1 piston and new used head.
swinger needs replaceing becouse some one did alot of welding on it to put shock back on... but for now i just want to make it run then get plastic, seat, swinger and exhaust.
old owner managed to ruin head with bad timeing chain and left out a few head bolts.... this thing is beat but it will make a nice restore.
it has a cobra exhaust on it but its about shot. all tires and wheel bearings are new.

what size are the stock sprokets? it has a 15 tooth on the front... looks big but havent rode it yet.. looks like with those big tires and sproket she is going to be to fast for trail rideing.. but i could be wrong. havent rode one of these in 12 years.

look around for a good all around tire remember a mud tire is gonna be harder to break loose in corners so it will make you work harder my personal favorite is itp holeshot

not much of a wholeshot fan. have had a few sets and some razors.. most of the stuff i ride in they dont have enough bite. i do love the razor 2's i have on the front of my 450r tho.. very nice tire
