I cannot wait to see my son’s face when this arrives. I hope I am home when it does. I was planning on building him one, but not being home makes it tough. So thanks to the watchful eye of a fellow triker and the kind heart of another fellow triker that picked it up for us we now have a nice addition to the family. Now if I can just find a way to get it from Oregon to Georgia. :wondering

lol tires are huge for a 80cc motor. where in oregon did you find this?

Stealthduner over on .org found it on criagslist. I was also wondering about the tires.

this is a wierd bike. crate is your best bet, or a nice little road trip to the west coast. lol then you could put those sand tires to use at the dunes...

LonesomeTriZ

Video may be a tall order right now.

Man, I would love to drive out there and do some wheeling. That is not possible considering the short R&R's I get.

that blows....crate can be spendy, but I think it will be cheap for that bike being that it is small. Smaller tires should make this thing rip...

We have a shipper that can haul it with out crating. But I am going to try the 3ww netwroking system and see how close I can get it before I call him.

The ad claimed it was a store bought conversion. That has to be rare.

It too bad my brother in Arkansas is not coming out this way for my dad's birthday. I could have talked him into hauling it back.

LonesomeTriZ
04-25-2009, 07:14 AM
That would get it a lot closer. I plan to post a seperate thread about the shipping.

Yes Ive seen plenty of ads in the old mags about converting the different mx bikes and all ive really seen up to this point are the kx conversions.
Theres got to be more "different" conversions out there. I'd love to see an aftermarket RM preferably 86 with the blue motor conversion.

I bet it will do ok with them.. Skate 1's work well on low powered machines.. On a light machine with a light rider and proper gearing it shouldn't be a problem... I see alot of blasters using them...

When I get home I will see if I can locate a manufactures name some where on the conversion parts.

That is a good point. I had a set a while back on my Blaster. They were pretty light.

Thanks you all. I was lucky to know such great fellow trikers. If it was not for them some one else (sorry Twilight) would have gotten it. Being since I am still in Iraq, I have missed out on a lot of things I wanted to get. I guess I am going to have to get an 86 Z going so we match out on the trails.

Chase doesnt know this is his and everytime he sees the pictures he asks if Daddy is getting this for him. If it gets here before you do it will be hidden until you come home to pull it out and see the reaction first hand.
