I just got this triple clamp in this week for my 250R project and I'm having trouble getting the bottom bearing off, feels like it's pressed on or something. Is there an easy way getting it off without screwing up the bottom triple clamp part?

Unless theres room to slip a plate under it there must be a tool for it. If your going to junk the bearing just dremel it carefully and chisel it off. There are bearing remover plates in 2 pieces with an angled part that slides the brg up and off as you tighten the bolts holding it together - usually found used with electric motor brg removal.

the textbook way to do it is to press the stem out of the clamp and the race bearing comes off. then press the stem back in and press on new bearing.

Thanks guys, guess I'll go press it out sometime since I don't have a dremmel or small enough grinder to cut the old bearing off.
Thanks

you can always just heat it with a torch real good and try a hammer and screwdriver or block of wood like a 1x1 or 2x2it should press out oretty easy thats what i did

not recomened. heat can cause warping of the aluminum and loss of temper on the steering stem.
