250 big red on a 350x ?

my throttle cable is on order and won't be in till monday , but will a 250 big red throttle cable work on a 350x ? i know they attatch at the carb the same way , and the throttle box the same way , just might be a little longer cable on the 250es.

so will a little longer throttle cable from a 250 big red temporarily work on a 350x for 1 day ? we have a ride planned for saturday and my new cable won't be in till tuesday and my buddy wants to see how my 350x is after my rebuild. He has 2 250 big red parts bikes with good throttle cables. Anyone ?:beer

Even a 250SX cable could work....

All you have to do is make certain that you route the cable in a way that if you turn the handlebars, it doesn't yank on the throttle and rev it up.
