I started up my 200S (Wiseco High Compression Piston, K&N, stock muffler, stock carb) and the idle went high. I couldn't get the idle to slow down at all....even after backing the idle screw almost completely out. Do I have to change the needle clip setting???
Thanks!

Check to make sure you don't have any air leaks.

Also check your throttle cable adjustment up on the thumb throttle - I have seen this very same thing happen multiple times from that being not adjusted properly.

Ok.....I haven't checked for air leaks, but I know the throttle adjustment screw at the throttle is backed all the way out.
make sure you didn't put your carb slide in backwards,

The slide is right, too. So looks like needle clip...right (barring leaks)?

I am not positive, but I thought the needle doesn't come into play until mid throttle or so.

Wouldn't it affect the idle if it is sitting too high?...I've got to learn carb tuning..:)
