I bout fell forward outta my chair from the body english trying to help em' over the hump!!

I have a friend who raced it back in the mid 80's. I believe he did it on a T3. I have a full length video here somewhere that I bought off of ebay. It was like the one you linked to but I think it was from a year or two earlier and it was about an hour long. It was taped off of TNN or ESPN.

You realize how slippery that hill was? Once they started leaning forward they took all the weight OFF the back wheels which resulted in nothing but wheelspin.

That 'hill' was always nothing but a nitemare for all of the riders. Some of the guys I've spoke to who rode Blackwater said the mud, bugs, river crossings - nothing compared to having to face that hill and the fans that waited there.

There's a member on here who rode it. Maybe he'll chime in if he sees this if he has the time. The races are but a small part of the story. If you hear the stories about everything that happened at Blackwater, Funny stuff.

watch the few that made it ... standing on the pegs .. not sitting down ...leaning forward at the top ...the guy on the trike with his knee on the seat did aight ...not quite my style but he made it

sorry but we ride out of stream beds here all the time and it's all about momentum and leaning forward. That's not to say I've never rolled over ...

I will say that the crowd and the water depth screwed most of em out of any momentum ...but if the butts on the seat when you hit a lip like that ... pfft you are going over

besides .. I'd rather lean forward and spin the tires and coast back down ... then sit on the seat and get traction while my ride goes over backwards. :wondering
