I'm looking to replace my rear rim on my 200 big wheel with a aluminum one that is gold, but they don't sell new gold rims any more. AND does any body know what bike to get a rim from??? that will work on a big wheel. THANKS

Look in you local yellow pages under "Plating". they will have to "De-anodize" then re anodize.

Anyone that can anodize can RE-anodize. Simply a caustic solution that is heated will strip the anodize off the aluminum revealing bare material. Usually every part that is anodized is etched in caustic before it is anodized.

Be careful about having the wheels stripped. Yes any anodizer can strip and reanodize your rims but when they strip the ano off it etches the wheel and when its reanodized IT’S NOT SHINNEY anymore. The rim needs to be polished before you reanodize.
