Few pics of the R & X

Me and my dad had to put down our dog of almost 12 years old this past thursday. I was feeling pretty crappy these past few days but I finally got to ride my 350x today that I bought over winter a few months back which helped cheer me up. I only test rode the 350x for about 30 seconds the night I bought it. I put new tires on it, rear ITP rims, light cage, chain guard, grips, bulbs, grab bar, OEM muffler and header, and a bunch of odds and ends as well as a tune up. I diconnected the new decompression cable I put on it because Im not sure its adjusted right. So I'll have to take another look at that. But I took the X out 3 times today and what a fun ride. I was real happy with it, I really didnt know what to expect really. I forget what that 30 seconds test ride was like by now. Not a real jumper like the R, but an awesome trails trike which is what i bought it for anyways. The maxxis razr tires suck. No beauty queens here, these are both riders and get ridden as hard as I can ride em. I threw up a pic of my dog too it his healthier days.

I honestly didn't expect to like my 350x as much as I do. I still think the suspension is crap but as long as I'm careful not to put myself in a situation that will bottom it out real bad, it's a ton of fun to ride. I've ridden it in the Arizona and California desert as well as the biggest dunes at Glamis now and it's handled everything other than jumping extremely well. The desert seat the Mosh's hooked me up with recently has made it into probably the most comfortable trike I've ever owned too.

Sorry to hear about your dog, I had to put one of my dogs down last June 14, he was 2 months away from his 14th birthday. Most loyal dog I ever had, no matter how bad my day was he could always put a smile on my face. I still miss him, but he had a stroke and couldn't walk so the vet said it was best for him to put him down. It will get better with time, I had my dog (buddy) cremated and now he is on my fireplace mantle.
Nice trikes too!, nothing like a good rip through the mud to clear your head.

thanks for that. Duke also was the best dog we had ever had. And would have been twelve on June 10th. He had siezures over the past 2 years. He was on medication to stop them. but still would have one every now and again. So we would take him in to the 24/hr vet and he would spend the night on a siezure watch, and then more meds. We waited I think as long as possible to do what we had to do. It came to where it just wasnt fair to him to make him deal with being so uncomfortable. The last siezure he had was what caused his quick downfall the past 2 weeks. He could no longer do steps, walk without falling and bumping into things, and I believe he no longer knew where he really was or what he was doing. he didnt eat or drink the whole last day, just stood over his bowl and looked at it. It was very sad but he had the best life a dog could have.

Riding the X did help. Since I had been waiting months to get to ride it and finally was able to it helped clear my mind for awhile.

Sorry for anyone who didnt feel like reading all that but this is one of the better forums I feel I can post this type of stuff without catching flak for it.
