Adjusting carb on Big Red

Changed my plug tonight and it was pretty black, I think running a touch too rich. Can anyone tell me how, or point me to a thread on adjusting my carb? I have done it before but can't find where I got the info I need.


BTW, I installed an Iridium NGK plug tonight, and I don't know if my other plug was fouled up or if this one is better, but I noticed a difference right away.

if its too rich in the top end drop the main a jet, if its too rich in mid drop the needle one position, if its too rich at idle drop the idle jet a size. first make sure the idle mixture screw is 1.5 turns out. good luck
