turn them into 86-87 tecate impellers. :w00t:

i needed a new impeller for my 86 tecate, there discontinued. so i had a thought, went and dug threw my triz parts to compare the impellers. z impellers are the same basic design as the tecates, just mount different. i got a used billet impeller from raffa, and modified it to fit a tecate. it will work just like the tecate's. i won't be able to test it for awhile now, the trike is still in pieces.

Cool. What happened to your Tecate impeller? It just broke apart or did something hit it?

thats how it came when i bought the tecate. i guess someone jammed a screw driver in there to hold it while loosening the nut.

NICE!!!!!!!!

Very glad to see them put to use in another application!!

I'm sure it's quality aluminum and spec'd out dead nutz :D

Ronnie is DA MAN :beer These retrofit and or performance parts aren't all black and white....... sometimes we have to lose to win but at least we have coaches willing to TRY!! Without guys like YAMAHONDAMAN, we'd have the same useless OEM parts that never worked in the 1st place.
