Well my buddy just paid $650 for an 86, just needed to have the carb tuned. I paid $1000 for near perfect condition 83

I would pay $400-$500

That axle will run you 100$+ easy. And if its rusted up you will probably destroy some stuff taking it out.

yeah .... I paid 500 for one in pieces and 500 for a roller .... so i would say if the plastic is good or better 500

I would pay $300-$400 for it. As far as the bent axle goes, when I lived in WI I bent a drive shaft on a tractor and took it to a shop and they straightened for me. It was about $100 to have it done but trying to find parts sometimes is more costly and time consuming. It can be done depending on where it's bent and how bent it is.
