82-84 big red forks same?

i have an 84 big red 200es i bought with bad forks. my buddy has an 82 big red 200s he will sell to me with good forks. all i need is the forks and throttle cable. will the forks work?

You mean 82 Big Red 200E right? they should be interchangable.

yeah -the 82 - 84 Big reds (ATC200E and ATC200ES) have the same front suspension. The 83 ATC200 and 84 ATC200M have a different better set up - not interchangeable.
