Tri-Z fork oil how much??

How much fork oil (oz or ml) should the 1985 yamaha tri z take per each fork and what weight do they recommend? I have the manual, but the page that tells you is missing.:rolleyes: Would fork oil go bad over time (like 10 years) if it is still in the original bottle and never opened?(seal never broken) Let me know. Thanks a lot.

Ok, nevermind on the ammount, I found it, 11.3oz. What about the oil though, you think its still good after 10 years sealed? Also, in the online service manual it says that i can use SAE 10wt motor oil for the forks as well? Anyone ever tried this? I never heard of anyone using motor oil for forks. Thanks, Jon...
