1988 Big Red and 350X

First thing, sorry to have more than one thread on here, buts I got questions.

Anyways, now to the important stuff...My brother from Illinois called me the earlier today, said he knows an old farmer with a few three wheelers in his shed, he used to collect them he said. But Anyways, of the 19 3 wheelers in there, he said theres a 350x in a box thats never been assembled, so brand new, but more interesting is a big red and a 350x that he said reads 1988 on the frames tag. I told him he was full of trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro...but anyways, just thought I would make sure I was right. By the way, Im new to 3 wheelers and thought 87 was the last year.

1988 Big Reds do exist, but they are few and far between. The 350x is very unlikely, they were supposed to have been a few made in 1987 but none of those have turned up yet. I guess anything is possible though. Have him get some pics of the machines, year tag, and VINs.

i have a 88 big red they were only sold in europe and OZ nowhere else....as for a 88 350x no way .....last one that was made was a 87 which no one has ever seen apart from brochures....

Ok, so I talked to my brother again tonight. He said he talked the old timer into selling us all his stuff (extremely close family freinds), but anyways, he told me that he wants $12000 for everything, 3 wheelers, spare parts, posters, shop signs and all other memorabilia he has. My brother says everything is mint, most machines havnt even had 10 tanks of gas the owner says. Is it worth it? Remember im new to 3 wheelers.

All stuff is honda's: heres a list of just the machines (which he had the whole series/all the numbers)...

i can belive the 350x still in box not asembled but not the 88 86 or posibly 87 i do know were a few bikes like that are in perfect condition with proly 20 or so bikes in a barn, chances are the guy wont sell or they will be extremly high. thats what i have run into but id like to see pics for proof.

but you are alredy beter off than i was i almost had to tell the guy he had them he wasnt wanting to say h said he sold out everything and i was like but theres a barn beside your house and i can see them right there n then he let me look, but priced stuff way expinsive or wouldnt sell. he had a bassani n supertrapp pipe for my x in good shape but wanted 300 bucks each rediculus

I'd say if everything is as described..... including an in-crate 350X, it's all DEFINITELY worth $12G.

i would say a crated 350x is worth around 20-30k, yes, were else are you going to find a in the crate 350x.

yep another newby with BS claims....
Brute there was a 85R in the crate on craigslist about 2 years ago think it went for $8500 and it went quick by the time i emailed him someone had already picked it up.....
Hagen has a Tri-z in the crate.... i also saw a atc70 in the crate in Germany about 5 years ago so they are out there just finding them.....
