Hi, i am currently building up an 83 250r. I need to get a new axel and bearing carrier. Will a bearing carrier for an 86 fit the 83 swingarm? Also, any recomendations for places to find an axel for reasonably cheap? And also, would a liquid cooled 250r engine fit in an 83 frame and how difficult would it be to make a raditator mount to go with it? Thanks a ton,
-Chris

Axles have been popping up on abay quite a bit. I just picked up a nos nasa +5 superaxle for a$100 last week.

If you want a liquid engine in your air cooled 250r, just sale it and buy a liquid R. It would be cheaper in the long run and so much better. If you are wanting to do this for more power then get a 300r kit or do the CR480 engine swap.

if it is too much of a pain ill just stick with an 84 aircooled engine... i just like the looks of the liquid cooled, not too mention there are many more performance parts available for it. As for the bearing carrier, will an 85 or 86 carrier fit in the 83 swingarm? What axel can i get that will fit also? Thanks,

is the front rim the same size as an 85 (will a front wheel from an 85 fit the 83 spindle)?
