Am I the only one who doesn't like this bulky setup? I mean, who uses the parking brake? I've never used one an an ATV ever. When I put mine back together, i think I'm going to use a regular clutch lever and forget the hassle of the bulkiness and the extra cable to the rear brake.
What do you guys think?

IMO it is completely USELESS! :D
You RIDE trikes, you don't park them....
 It's a nice thing to have to show people and smile blah blah blah. But usually the coarse worm type gear in the caliper is seized and rusted. If you have a mint OEM machine then your good. Or if you take your stuff apart and fix it up, then your good too.....
To me it's more of a hassle than anything else. Save some weight, yank the cable, block it off, get an ASV clutch lever and be done with it :D

Glad to see someone who tends to agree. I'm going to keep the OEM setup and box it up and store it, and just go with a lighter, easier to use regular clutch lever. thanks for the input, bro.

i just picked up a 1986 350x monday evening with no parking brake and have no intentions of trying to put one on seeing how everything has already been deleted and the bracket for the cable of the caliper is broken off

My parking brake cable is now re-routed to my de-compression lever on the head so I can use my goki on my 350x. I just pull in the parking brake lever, hit the button and off I go. It's the best reason I found for keeping it
