Anyone here know someone that can fab up inverted forks. I don't just mean the tripples cause I know the forks probally have to be shortened to. I'm not looking for a bargin, I know it takes time to do and time is money. I would take them for a 250r or a triz or both. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Denn

I've made some before. I think I was one of the first guys on here to do inverts. The KTM forks I use don't need any real mods either. Some springs and thats about it. I've based mine off of an old Laeger design, and their weld together steel types. Not as heavy as you would think. I experimented with an aluminum weld together type, but at the time, it was a little outside my grasp of skill. I'm pretty confident I could pull it off now though. The steel set would be easy to throw together. I still have my fork blanks I turned and my little table jig setup.

$350 would do it. Probably cheaper if we could get a few people to pitch in and I could order some material in bulk. I'd have the plates laser cut this time too more then likely.

I'd love to try making another aluminum set. Looking back I wish I wouldn't have gotten frustrated and chunked these...they were going to turn out sweet.

They woulda been tough at least, they did that without breaking even before the front tube was welded on  That was my weld test, about 18,000lbs to do that.
