I finally got around to putting front brakes back on my 350x. but I'm pretty sure it's wrong. does the brakeline wrap inside the forks? Not like I have it in the pic?

I ripped it around the house today and I have a terrible squeal when I hit the brake. it's never done that before!

Oh,, I never seen the mounting hardware on the lower part of the fork.. so I just rigged something up. is that what that little tab and threeaded hole is for?

You just need a better picture - it's arsebackwards......

It does tuck behind it and lovely HONDA made a sweet guide that keeps her safe :D

This why your selling the braided line you had and or were running??

I only ask because I need a nice front hose and I'm not banking on OEM as a goods option!...................

I couldn't get the front brakes bled out with that longass SS line. :banned: So I said screw it and went back to stock.:lock: It's JohnR's problem now! :D

I dont think I ever seen one of those lower guides before. :wondering

Guess I gotta just unbolt the banjo bolt and go around the other side.  hopefully that will fix that squeal. the brake pads are fine.. so IDK?

Dude, it looks like one of those stainless bolts of yours is rubbing on the rake rotor.

I got a pretty good idea of what I need to do. But I would like to see how that bottom guide mounts up. anyone got an extra? :D

Your right Louis. I just went out and looked. I think I know where my squeal is coming from. Thanks guys! :beer :w00t:

Yes it sure does mount on the inside hehe. I thought that was strange to have it that way but never seen them rubbing.

yeah right when i saw your topic i started laughing...

its supposed to go inside...that ss braided line was off of an 86 tecate, it was long as hell but it worked....you just needed patience when bleeding it, and by that i mean a 6 pack...

do you have that inner guide?

mike

Dammit!

It does wrap around the back like a 250r but the mount is actually not quite the same. Make sure you get the right one.
