I just got an 85 225 DX and joined the forum recently. I'm having a problem with the clutch. Not all the time, but frequently, the shifting lever will not move up to shift (into 3rd gear mostly). Sometimes it shifts fine and sometimes when you go to put it in 3rd, the shifting lever won't move at all. Any help is appreciated. I downloaded the manual from this site, but am a complete newbie when it comes to working on ATV's. Seems to shift better when you have it topped out in each gear. I love this trike and this is the only problem I'm having so far other than needing a new front tire.
